Happy Father's Day to all our great JV Star Dads!

The kids had a great swim meet yesterday at divisional.  We watched numerous kids qualify for invitationals and more posted personal bests!  The entire swim season has been great.  The JV Stars Board wants to thank all the parents for their dedication in getting their kids to swim practice and swim meets and for helping out at all the swim meets.  It truly takes a community to make the JV Stars Swim Team possible.

MOVIE DAY!

Invitational practices will be adjusted to accommodate swimmers and coaches who want to go to the movie.

Invitational Practices

Swimmers who have qualified and entered the invitational swim meets will have practice this week Monday through Friday.  Swimmers ages 8 and under will have practice from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.  Swimmers ages 9 and older will have practice from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.

Ponderosa

The Ponderosa Invitational is held at Klein Oak High School Natatorium at 22603 Northcrest Dr., Spring TX 77389.  Warm-ups on Saturday and Sunday: Prelims - 7 a.m.; Finals 4:30 p.m.

Set-up areas are both inside and outside in designated areas in close proximity to the ready bench and pool entrance. Attached is additional information.

Trinity 

The Trinity Summer Classic is held at the CyFair Natatorium (same place we had the divisional swim meet) 122550 B Windfern Road, Houston, TX 77064.

Warm-ups for Saturday and Sunder will either be from 6:30 - 7:00 a.m. or 7:00 to 7:30 a.m.  Our exact warm-up time will be determined after entries have been completed.

Set-up area will be under the football stadium's visitors grandstand on the east side of the football field.  Still bring tents, chairs, etc. to keep yourself comfortable throughout the swim meet. Attached is additional information.

End of Season Party and Awards

Our end of season party will be on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 6 p.m. at the Pavilion next to the pool. Bring a desert to share.  The team is providing the food, which will be catered by the Backyard Grill, and drinks.

We also request families make monetary donations to Cy-Hope if able.  Cy-Hope's mission is to make life better for all kids in the Cy-Fair area.  Cy-Hope serves as a catalyst to bring needs and solutions together, bringing hope to at-risk children in the Cy-Fair community so they will grow into educated and productive citizens.  Your generosity is appreciated and will go towards a great program that supports our community.

We will also have an awards ceremony to recognize all the swimmers, pass out some special awards for some select swimmers, and recognize those families that went above and beyond helping out the JV Stars this season.  Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
