In the last couple of swim meets, there have been instances where a swimmer who was entered in the Freestyle Relays (Events 71 - 80) left the swim meet before these events.  That resulted in relay teams not having enough swimmers to compete.  It is incredibly disappointing for and not fair to swimmers who are ready to compete only to learn that they will not be swimming in the relay event. It is also unfair to those swimmers' parents who have remained at the swim meet and then are required to explain to their children why they cannot race.

If your swimmer is entered in Events 71 - 80, please stay so that your swimmer can compete in those events.  If you will be leaving the swim meet before these events, please let the coaches know so that your swimmer is not entered into the event or a replacement can be found and notified.  If you unexpectedly need to leave a swim meet early and your swimmer is entered in the Freestyle Relays, please let the coaches know so that a replacement can be found or parents can be informed that their relay team will not compete.  Thank you for your consideration and understanding.
